Republicans move to control Keystone approval
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Congressional Republicans, who are urging President Barack Obama to give a permit to the Canada-to-Texas Keystone XL oil pipeline project, are working on a plan to take the reins of approval from the president should the White House say no.
TransCanada, Nebraska reach deal on Keystone
(Reuters) - Nebraska and TransCanada Corp reached a deal on Monday that will see the state pay for environmental studies on a new route for the $ 7 billion Keystone XL pipeline that steers clear of the environmentally sensitive Sand Hills region and the Ogallala aquifer.
